Plunger

Here's one of my most favourite bands in the emotional hardcore genre; Plunger. They hailed from Maryland, USA. Inspired by bands such as Moss Icon, The Hated and Lungfish, the band got together in 1993 and recorded the first demo. In 1994, The band released a 7" and two split 7" with William Martyr 17 and Blank. They broke up around 1994/95. In 1997, a posthumous LP that collects two unreleased sessions from 1995 and 1996 was put out by Planaria Recordings (in my opinion that's their best material). After the band broke up, singer Tom LoMacchio focused on his solo career. I might post his solo works on this blog at a later point.
